Edoardo Strabbioli is a musician of great versatility, whose career embraces chamber music, solo playing, duo playing and teaching. After completing his piano studies at the Conservatory of Milan under Carlo Vidusso, he started a solo career appearing in recital and performing with orchestras like the Chamber Orchestra of Stuttgart, the Radio Orchestra in Cologne, the Mantova Chamber Orchestra, Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra.

His intellectual and musical curiosity played a fundamental role in his decision to establish a closer relationship with the world of chamber music and he has worked with artists such as Frank Peter Zimmermann, Saschko Gawriloff, Kyoko Takezawa, Bin Huang, Pierre Amoyal, Sergej Krylov, Marco Rizzi, Liana Issakadze, Wen-Sinn Yang, Shostakovich String Quartet, the soprano Cecilia Gasdia and many others. With them he has performed in the most prestigious concert series of Europe including Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Gewandhaus in Leipzig, Auditorium du Louvre, Semperoper in Dresden, Kioi Hall in Tokyo, Auditorium Nacional de Madrid, Tonhalle in Zürich, Megaron in Athens, and he has been guest of international festivals like Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival and Ludwigsburger Schloss-Festspiele.

Current season’s highlights include solo recitals in Italy, a tour in Japan with Kyoko Takezawa, concerts with Sergej Krylov and also a special participation to the China International Music Competition in Beijing.

He has recorded for many broadcasting networks like NHK, RAI, BBC, DRS 2, AVRO, Bayerischer Rundfunk, Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk and Radio France and participated to Frank Peter Zimmermann’s recording dedicated to Ysaÿe for EMI.

He is Supervisor of the Artistic Committee of the Verona International Piano Competition and professor at the Verona Conservatory.
