Anna Savkina has been awarded top prizes in many prestigious violin competitions, including Sendai Competition in Japan, the Louis Spohr in Germany, David Oistrakh in Russia, Heino Eller in Estonia, Buchenau Spring in Germany, Andrea Postacchini in Italy, Astana Competition in Kazakhstan.
Born in Russia in 1994, Anna Savkina has studied at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory under Prof. Alexander Vinnitsky and Prof. Vladimir Ivanov. Also she has studied at the Folkwang University in Germany with Prof. Boris Garlitsky. Nowadays Anna is mentored by Eduard Wulfson in Switzerland.
Anna is twice prizewinner of the Sendai Competition in Japan in 2013 and 2016, where she got the Audience prize for two times. She graduated from Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory with the rank «The best graduate 2018».
She has performed with many famous conductors, including Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Dimitris Botinis, Pascal Verrot, Junichi Hirokami, Tan Fao, Alexander Rudin, Vladimir Spivakov, Yuri Bashmet, Paavo Järvi, Masahiro Izaki, Dumitru Goia, Vasily Valitov, Steven Huang, Andrey Kolyasnikov, Vittorio Parisi and Hiroyuki Hibino.
She has participated in various masterclasses with prof. Boris Kuschnir, Pinchas Zukerman, Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Pierre Amoyal, Mihaela Martin, Augustin Dumay, David Chan, Guy Braunstein, Wolfgang Redik and Guillaume Sutre.
