Leonard TOSCHEV

German Age 18

Leonard Toschev, a third generation German violinist, started playing violin at the age of 4 and already at the age of 11 he began his studies at the University of the Arts (UdK) in Berlin as junior student of Professor Tomasz Tomaszewski. Further on Leonard studied with Professor Boris Garlitsky at the Folkwang University and Professor Koh Gabriel Kameda at the Hochschule für Musik in Münster. Since 2022 Leonard has studied with Professor Friedemann Eichhorn as private student and since 2023 as a bachelor student at the Hochschule für Musik in Weimar, Germany. Leonard made his debut as a soloist with orchestra already at the age of 11 and has played since then with such orchestras as the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, Anhaltische Philharmonie Dessau, Staatskapelle Halle, Vogtland Philharmonie Greiz, Sion Festival Orchestra and Bergische Symphoniker.
