Yiming LIU
China Age 23
Yiming Liu begin violin studying at age 5. From March 2020 to today, she has been studying violin with Professor Rainer Schmidt at Universität Mozarteum Salzburg for bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Austria.
Some of her education and award experiences:
- July of 2022: Graduating from Universität Mozarteum Salzburg with Bachelor’s degree.
- October of 2017 to March of 2020: Studying violin with Professor Pierre Amoyal at Universität Mozarteum Salzburg.
- September of 2017: 1st Prize Winner of the 2nd Zhuhai International Mozart Competition for Young Musicians, China.
- August 2017: 3rd Prize and Bach Prize winner in Kloster Schontal 17th International Competition for Violin, Germany.
- September 2014: Studying Violin with Professor Paul Roczek and Michaela Girardi at the Universität Mozarteum Salzburg Pre-college in Austria.
